Referral Fees

Referral fees will be paid promptly after the closing of a sale of real estate to a lead provided through BUYERS USA Relocation. The standard referral fee is 25% of the buyer side of the real estate commission. (Referral fees percentages are subject to change and are based on market conditions. Every effort is made to keep fees well below market averages.) In the event that a lead decides not to buy upon arrival, the referral fee agreement will continue for one year after the lead is assigned. However, upon closing one of our leads, Buyers USA's referral fee comes off of the top of your commission and not off of what is left over. We would greatly appreciate it if you would take broker, franchise, and other types of fees out of your commission after you pay Buyers USA Relocation. Here is a sample scenario of what to do: If a Buyers USA member sells a house to a Buyers USA lead for $120,000 and the member makes a 3% commission off of the sale of the house, then we get 25% of the member's 3% commission. In this case, the member would generate a $3,600 commission before paying referral and other fees. Therefore, Buyers USA would earn $900 off of the member's commission. Checks should be mailed to PO Box 367 Anniston, AL, 36202

Information to Include With Your Check

Please be sure to include your membership number, lead number, and/or your name on any checks that you send to Buyers USA along with HUD1 statement. In order for you to get credit for paying us for any of your referral fees, membership fees, etc., you must include this information on all checks that are sent to Buyers USA.

This is particularly important when dealing with referral fees because not paying this fee or forgetting to include your membership number on your referral fee check can result in you not getting proper credit for your successful sale. Also, this results in valuable time being spent on internal audits on our part.

IDEALLY, REFERRAL FEES MAY BE PAID BY EITHER THE REAL ESTATE COMPANY(BROKERAGE), THE REAL ESTATE BROKER, THE CLOSING ATTORNEY, OR THE CLOSING AGENCY/TITLE COMPANY.
